During the presidential campaign Phile Gramm suggested that we are a ntion of whiners.  He was fired for the insight.

Is this not more indication of political correctness and entitlement?  It's not our fault - we deserve...whatever.  And it ought to go on forever - we deserve it.

Can any thinking person say that the excesses over the past 6 years weren't sustainable?  Can anyone say that housing prices were not ridiculously out of line?  Bubbles  are so common in history they are anything but unusual - and should be expected.  but no..........

Sorry, but we are a nation of ignorant greedy fools.
