Reading about government today, what they say and what they are thinking, and reading about all the columns that are written about it, and just contemplating about it all; have I missed something?  Tell me this is just Saturday Night Live.

I have suggested in past postings that we have turned into an entertainment only culture, but come on, this is too much.  These people, both politicians and media pundits, are supposed to be professionals, aren't they?  Well, actually pity the media folks, they have to put out something; it's their livelihood.  And what can they write other than the inanity they see continually during a politcal work day?  Lordy I am glad I am not doing that for a living.

But the politicians?  This is really, really sad.  At least it would be if it wasn't serious.  And we elected these people?  Who elected them?  Ahhhh, ok.  That doesn't make it any less pathetic; it just spreads the patheticism around.
